At Morning Star Community Church, we believe, according to Scripture, that parents-not the State-have both the authority and responsibility for the education of their children.
This does not mean we endorse one type of education over another, but rather, we believe parents and guardians should have the right to determine how, where, and in what way the children for whom they are responsible are educated.
Currently there are two non-partisan ballot initiatives to which you may want to give some prayerful consideration. One involves school choice and open enrollment, and the other designates a portion of money to follow the child in the educational choice made by the parent or guardian.
