Hello Morning Star Family!

First up, let’s continue to pray for Max and Tanya Garkavenko.
They continue to faithfully minister to the people of Israel during this time of war. As they selflessly serve the Lord, let’s join together in praying for strength, and guidance for Max and Tanya Garkavenko as they navigate the complexities of working in Israel with the conflict engulfing the Middle East right now, as well as caring for their family & friends. May they find the support and resources they need to continue their work, and may their efforts be blessed with understanding, compassion, and positive outcomes.
Mike Silva International – Costa Rica Praise Report
Our team was in awe over all the ways, big and small, that God moved mightily during our tour stop in Costa Rica. We ministered simultaneously in three often forgotten cities–Gu`apiles, Rio Jim`enez, and Lim`on. Locals were overwhelmed with gratitude that we would take the time, resource, energy and effort to come to their cities and churches and win, disciple, and help as many individuals as we possibly could during our time.
Simonka Place – UGM Salem
The June Simonka Giving Circle Renew 2024 is an event organized by Simonka Place, a women’s shelter in Salem, Oregon. This annual gathering brings together supporters, donors, and volunteers to renew their commitment to helping homeless and at-risk women in the community. During the event, attendees have the opportunity to learn about the shelter’s impact, hear inspiring stories from women who have benefited from its programs and participate in fundraising activities. The goal of the Renew event is to generate support for Simonka Place’s mission of providing temporary housing, counseling, job training, and resources to empower women in need. Through the collective efforts of the Giving Circle, the shelter aims to continue making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable women, helping them rebuild their lives and regain independence.
