As we enter this Advent season, I want to show you two examples of Advent Guides you can go through with your family – located through this link.
What is Advent?
Advent is the season of reflective preparation for Christ’s Nativity at Christmas. The Advent season can be a great time for families to celebrate “the reason for the season”—Jesus Christ.
- The first Advent Guide is a simple one you can do on Sundays through Christmas Eve. There’s something to read and then an activity. This one is written by our curriculum provider that we use for all of our Sunday teaching lessons. There will be copies at check-in each Sunday if you’d like a printed version.
- The second Advent Guide is much more involved, including daily readings, songs, prayers, and activities. This one is written by a ministry called Little Way Chapel. With this one being lengthy, if you would like it printed, please email me (louie@mstar.church), and I can have it available for you at check-in the very next Sunday.

Christmas Eve services will be at 9 & 11 am, and 3 pm. Classes for kids 3 and under will be open at the 9 and 11 services.
