Staff – Daniel Bennett

I was born and raised in Tri-Cities, Washington and was brought to Oregon through Corban University. I first came to know the Lord as an 8-year-old in my front yard and rededicated my life to Christ at age 16 after losing my mother to cancer.

After high school, I decided to follow Christ with my whole life and desire to help others do the same. I became MStar’s Middle School Director in March 2023. I have always had a passion for middle schoolers, and I want to be present with and minister to students in times of trauma, temptation, and loss; so they know they are not alone. I want to cultivate an environment of Christ-like love in my program while helping students find their identity in our savior Jesus. While I also strive to keep my identity rooted in Him.

I have known my wonderful wife, Maya, my entire life and we were married this summer 2023!

I look forward to getting to know the Morning Star community more and more, as we strive to live Jesus-First lives alongside one another!
